WHO CAN BE A MEMBER

ARISE-Philippines is open to all private sector organizations that are committed to building a sustainable, inclusive and resilient Philippines.

Members are admitted based on a successful application process.

Private sector organizations regardless of size, location, years in operations, industry, ownership may become a member of ARISE-Philippines provided they do not fall under the exclusion criteria prescribed by the UN Global Compact.

Following the UN Global Compact rules to protect the integrity and reputation of the United Nations and its values, private sector companies and organizations that fall under the following criteria are not eligible for membership.

• Subject to a UN sanction
• Listed on the UN Ineligible Vendors List for ethical reasons
• Derive revenue from controversial weapons, including the production, sale and/or transfer of antipersonnel landmines or cluster bombs
• Derive revenue from the production and/or manufacturing of tobacco
